About

X-ISAC (pronounced cross-ISAC) is the supporting Information Sharing and Analysis Center for other ISACs, information sharing communities or CSIRT networks which provides core software, cross-sector threat intelligence, taxonomies and open standards.

Information sharing is now a key requirement in cyber security as well as in intelligence, counter-terrorism and financial fraud detection/prevention. X-ISAC is there to provide the tools and practices to enable and drive information sharing and exchange worldwide.

With the increase of sharing organisations and/or initiatives, bridging the exchange of information between communities is critical to ensure efficient collaboration, analysis and cross-sectorial exchanges. X-ISAC uses the MISP standard formats and technologies to enable users to benefit from different sharing models (centralised, partially-bridged, distributed) with continuous contributions from members (via proposals, collaborative intelligence support, sightings or expansions).

Who

X-ISAC is operated and maintained by the Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg (CIRCL). Seeing the needs to bridge sectors and improve the sharing of information among different regions, countries, sectors or even at organisation level, X-ISAC is there to leverage the experience of CIRCL in information sharing with tools and standard like MISP project.
